We Train Engineers Who Can Succeed Globally
Osaka Electronics College offers two main departments:
The Department of Electronic Engineering and the Department of Information Engineering.
Department of Electronic Engineering
In the Department of Electronic Engineering, students learn the skills needed to become appliance repair technicians.
Through hands-on training, students acquire practical knowledge in disassembling, assembling, and detecting faults in household appliances such as air conditioners, televisions, and washing machines.
Students also gain technical skills through practical training in the installation of air conditioners and LED lighting systems.
By learning Japan’s world-renowned manufacturing and engineering technologies, students are encouraged to become engineers who can connect Japan and their home countries through technology.
Courses
Department of Information Engineering
The Department of Information Engineering provides fundamental education in IT fields such as computers, software, and information security.
Whilst learning programming concepts (algorithms), databases, and the Java programming language, students also prepare for professional certifications such as the IT Passport Examination and the Fundamental Information Technology Engineer Examination.
Students learn Japan’s highly trusted IT technologies from the basics to practical applications, and we foster global information engineers who can work across borders using the power of digital technology.
